About Me
For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of reporting and covering sports. As a child, I tried to play as many sports as I could, from basketball to tennis, and when I realized there was a way for me to combine my love of sports with my love of writing, I leaped at the opportunity. I believe the best stories examine the human being behind the athlete, not just the wins and losses. I was able to develop this writing style while attending the prestigious Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University (ASU). While there, I also had the opportunity to produce and create a variety of multimedia content for collegiate and professional sports organizations including:
- Phoenix Mercury
- Phoenix Suns
- ASU Sports (Football, Basketball, Golf and Track and Field)
- ASU Cronkite Phoenix Sports Bureau (aired nightly on Arizona PBS)
- The Oakland Athletics
- Arizona Cardinals
- Super Bowl XLIX
- NCAA Final Four 2017
- Fiesta Bowl 2018 and 2019
Currently, I am working as a Sports Digital Reporter for the Wrangler News in Phoenix Arizona.
